Star Meadows Park

Erie, Colorado

Inclusive, Innovative Star Meadows Park Opening Soon

While it may currently look a bit like a lunar landscape, Star Meadows Park is actually a solar-system-themed, seven-acre neighborhood park in Erie, Colorado. When completed, it will feature a central plaza with three custom picnic shelters, game tables, seat walls, and swing benches. The play areas will accommodate all ages and abilities and will highlight contemporary play pieces such as disc swings, sculptural play spaces, a half-moon climbing rock, and an Apollo spinner.

There will be a trail system throughout the park that links to the neighboring school and regional trails, a post-tension concrete basketball court, and a natural turf field. One small step for kids at play, one giant leap for landscape architecture!
