Bayou Gulch Regional Park | Athletic Fields | Dog Park | Bike Park

Parker, Colorado

This 205-acre regional park, located in Parker and managed by Douglas County Parks, offers opportunities for both active and passive recreation, including:

  • synthetic turf multi-use fields (soccer, softball, football, lacrosse)

  • playgrounds

  • basketball court

  • off-leash dog park

  • reservable picnic facilities

  • open space and trails

  • equestrian trail

  • bike trails and skills course

  • interpretive park and regional information

A contemporary ranch theme has been carried throughout the park in structures and decorative elements. Footprints of native wildlife are embedded in the central walk of the park, and those of domestic animals occur around the interior “farmstead.” Structures include a homestead-like concession building, shelters which resemble farmstead outbuildings, and a maintenance facility that resembles a hay barn. Etchings of animals and native plants adorn the playground, which is entered through a corral fence.
