Description: The City of Loveland wanted to include a skate park within their new Sports Complex. We held several meetings with local skaters and bikers to get an idea of what features would suit their needs. This 12,000sf skate park is divided into a bowl area and a street course. The concrete bowl area consists of a 3' and a 4' mini ramp with a spine between the two, a dome for gaining speed, a wave lip, a 6' deep round bowl, and an 8' deep round bowl with 6in of vert and a love seat. Two stair sets and a ramp drop down into the street course which is made up of a variety of wood modular ramps. At one end is a 5' wedge, and a 4' quarter pipe with a gap in the middle. In the center is a fun box with a pyramid, launch box, stairs, and a grind box. At the other end are two 6' quarter pipes connected by an 8' wall ride. Along the entire east edge of the street course is an 18' high concrete grind ledge with a gap and a raised grind box. The bowl area is raised up to create a plateau which is the high point of the site.

The park officially opened in June 2006.
