Salida is a small and growing mountain community. The wealth of outdoor activities that surrounds the town make it a destination for tourists and residents who want to live the Colorado lifestyle. This master plan is the first Parks, Recreation, Open Space and Trails Master Plan for the City and guides decision making for administration, operation, maintenance and future capital projects. It addresses challenges such as a limited budget, staffing, and preparing for new growth. The plan provided specific goals and objectives for the next five years and created a vision for the next ten years and beyond. Team members included Design Concepts and Geowest.
