| Description: | Oregon City is located in the greater Portland metro area, but has a unique history of its own. Challenges for the parks and recreation department include, a rapidly growing population, difficult geographic barriers, and very limed funding. The master plan performed a complete public process, demographic analysis, inventory, and analysis, creation of GIS digital database, funding alternatives, organizational SWOT analysis, program analysis, partnership opportunities, organizational recommendations, and created recommendations for both active and passive use lands and recreation facilities for the City. Team members included Design Concepts, Leisure Vision and Geowest. | ||
