In conjunction with EDAW, a cohesive plan was created for all public parks, recreation, open space, monuments and cultural facilities for our nation's capital through working jointly with the National Capital Planning Commission, the National Park Service and the Washington DC Parks and Recreation Department. GreenPlay and team members from Design Concepts and Geowest were charged primarily with conducting the typologies and standards analysis using the GRASP Methodology to evaluate holdings and service areas, along with confirming demographics, administrative benchmarking, operations and administrative opportunities, and helping to align and facilitate the partnerships between these three major agencies.
